As Job Data is being entered and updated, it is important to remember to keep the data in Job Data in sync with Position Data.  A common issue is that certain aspects of Job Data that are automatically populated from Position Data, such as the pay frequency, are overridden.  This can cause downstream issues with payroll.

If a correction needs to be made in Job Data on data that comes from the position, it is best to correct the position first.  If the nature of the changes are such that the employee is transferring from a monthly to an hourly position, then it may be best to assign the employee to a new position.
